As a Media Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our brand visibility and reputation within the industry. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing a comprehensive media strategy to elevate our brand presence. - Crafting compelling press releases and news articles to announce company milestones and newsworthy developments. - Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers. - Creating engaging and informative content for various media channels such as social media, newsletters, and the company blog. - Collaborating with the marketing team to promote events through media channels, securing coverage and partnerships. - Monitoring and reporting on media coverage and PR efforts, providing insights for continuous improvement. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. - 0.6-1 year of experience in media relations and PR, preferably in the B2B events industry. - Demonstrated success in securing media coverage and building media relationships. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Strong organizational and project management abilities. - Proficiency in PR software and analytics tools. - Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative PR ideas.
