Job Description Mechanical Site Engineer (Industrial Projects), Steel Plant. Supervise and execute mechanical works at the site, including equipment erection, piping, and structural installations.
Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and ensure work is carried out as per approved design. Plan and monitor daily activities to achieve project milestones within defined timelines.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams for smooth site execution. Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality standards, and industrial codes during execution.
Conduct equipment alignment, inspection, testing, and commissioning checks where required.
Track consumption of manpower, materials, and tools ensuring cost and resource efficiency. Maintain documentation, prepare daily/weekly site progress reports, and update management.
Prior experience in Steel Plant or Heavy Industrial Project Construction will be a strong advantage. Qualification: BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 48 years of site execution experience.
