Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Will be responsible in analyzing of Mechanical products at component/subsystem/system level in industrial domain.
Should have exposure in production processes and tooling costs and review alternatives or put forward recommendations for improvement.
Identify & quantify cost factors from various Mechanical products.
Interact with cross functional teams for technical discussions.
Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through cost analysis review

Knowledge and Skills required:

Working experience in manufacturing industry
Exposure to Manufacturing practices, specific to Machining, Sheet Metal, Fabrication, Castings, Forgings & Plastics is an added advantage
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Should have experience in manufacturing / assembly line. Experience in should costing is preferable
Fluent in oral and written communications.
Should be conversant with Quality system like ISO 9001, IATF 16949 / AS 9100 / ISO 13485
Knowledge on safety systems like 5S, OHSAS 18001, IEC 61508 etc...
