Job Description

1. Solution Design and Architecture Lead the design of scalable and secure Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Translate complex business requirements into well-architected technical solutions that leverage Salesforce platform capabilities. Evaluate trade-offs between options and present architectural choices with rationale. Develop and maintain architectural best practices, coding standards, and design patterns aligned with Salesforce's evolving platform. 2. Apex, LWC, and Salesforce Development Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality custom applications and enhancements using Apex (Classes, Triggers, Batch, Schedulers, Future Methods) and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Build dynamic and responsive user interfaces leveraging LWC, Aura, and Visualforce (if needed). Perform advanced Apex design patterns, asynchronous processing, and system integration patterns. Enforce code quality through regular code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to secure coding practices. 3. Integration and Data Management Lead integration architecture for connecting Salesforce with external systems via REST, SOAP, Platform Events, and MuleSoft/other middleware. Design and implement secure authentication and authorization strategies (OAuth, SAML, Named Credentials, External Services). Manage data migration, cleansing, and ETL processes between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and data tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard, MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.). 4. Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud Implementation Customize and configure Sales Cloud (lead management, opportunity management, forecasting, territory management) and Service Cloud (case management, omnichannel routing, knowledge base, CTI integrations). Set up and customize Experience Cloud (community portals) including custom themes, self-service portals, partner communities, and digital experiences. Create scalable solutions for customer service portals, partner portals, knowledge bases, and employee communities. 5. Technical Leadership and Mentoring Act as the technical lead for Salesforce projects, mentoring junior developers and admins. Provide guidance on system design, development strategies, and technical best practices. Drive peer reviews and continuous improvement of the Salesforce technical ecosystem. Act as the escalation point for troubleshooting complex technical issues. 6. DevOps, Deployment, and CI/CD Manage Salesforce development lifecycle using tools like Git, Bitbucket, Gearset, Copado, or Flosum. Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, code quality enforcement, and deployments across environments. Ensure smooth deployment processes using Salesforce DX, Change Sets, or metadata API-based deployment strategies. 7. Governance, Compliance, and Security Ensure Salesforce solutions adhere to organization security policies and Salesforce platform security guidelines (OWASP, Salesforce Shield, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). Implement role hierarchy, sharing rules, and data visibility models aligned with business requirements. Participate in governance boards and enforce design review checkpoints. 8. Stakeholder Communication and Requirement Gathering Work closely with business stakeholders, functional leads, and product owners to gather, refine, and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Lead workshops, technical discussions, and design review sessions with cross-functional teams. Produce clear technical documentation (solution design documents, system architecture diagrams, user guides). 9. Continuous Improvement and Innovation Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices. Drive innovation by proposing enhancements, proof of concepts (POCs), and pilot solutions. Evaluate AppExchange solutions and third-party tools for accelerating project delivery and feature enhancements.
