Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and repair of plant equipment, utility systems,and mechanical assemblies.

Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical faults in pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, chillers,mixing and blending machine, cleaning and grinding machine, other rotating equipment.
Carry out alignment, balancing, lubrication, and replacement of mechanical parts as per maintenance schedules.
Monitor vibration, temperature, and other parameters for predictive maintenance.
Maintain accurate logs of breakdowns, preventive maintenance activities, and spare usage.
Support electrical and instrumentation teams during integrated maintenance jobs.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices in all mechanical maintenance activities.
Assist in overhauls, annual shutdown maintenance, and statutory inspections.
Coordinate with stores for spare parts planning and availability.
Participate in audits, inspections, and safety drills.
