Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Execute preventive and predictive maintenance on heavy machinery such as cranes, presses, Plate bending, CNC Machines and rotating equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures, ensuring minimal downtime.
Perform alignment, balancing & lubrication for critical equipment.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and update CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System-SAP).
Collaborate with production and planning teams to schedule maintenance without impacting operations.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001/14001/45001 standards, statutory norms, and safety regulations.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of heavy mechanical equipment.
Monitor spare parts inventory and raise requisitions for critical spares.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of heavy engineering equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating machinery.
Hands-on experience with crane maintenance, gearboxes, bearings, and lubrication systems.
Familiarity with TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and other maintenance best practices.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP software.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Strong adherence to safety protocols.
