knowledge about general safety at workplace, welding safety, welding radiations, electrical hazards, related to fabrication.
knowledge of allowable tolerances, heat correction.
basic drawing reading skills & basic tape measurement skills
prior experience in either boiler/ pressure vessels or heavy/medium fabrication /plant equipment fabrication manufacturing industry.
knowledge of basic press work,small power tools operation
knowledge of level checking by water level & optical instrument,alignment & ovality checking.
able to do required material handling for his job.
able to do good quality tack & fillet welding in 1G position.
knowledge of profile grinding, leak test, hydrotest, DPT.
