Mechanical Fitter

As a Textile Machinery Maintenance Technician, your role involves performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on textile machinery. You will be responsible for inspecting and replacing worn-out mechanical parts such as bearings, gears, pulleys, belts, shafts, and couplings. Additionally, you will ensure proper lubrication and alignment of moving components and replace seals, gaskets, and mechanical components of pumps. Key Responsibilities: - Perform arc, gas, or MIG welding for repairing machine frames, brackets, and pipelines. - Support maintenance of auxiliary equipment like air compressors, water lines, and gear systems. - Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machines. - Maintain tools and equipment in good condition. - Carry out minor fabrication jobs required for machine modifications or maintenance. - Ensure all welding work meets safety and quality standards. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a maintenance technician, specifically in textile machinery. - Proficiency in arc, gas, or MIG welding techniques. - Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems efficiently. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
