Job Description

Professor Mechanical Engineering

Assistant/Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Mechanical Engineering subjects at
Ph.D., M.Tech, and B.Tech levels
.
Develop, design, and update course materials and curriculum in line with current academic and industry standards.
Publish regularly in
Scopus-indexed
or
peer-reviewed journals
.
Guide
Ph.D. and postgraduate research
; at least
one Ph.D. must be awarded under your supervision
.
Contribute to academic administration, research funding proposals, and departmental activities.
Actively participate in conferences, seminars, and academic outreach initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering
or related specialization.
Minimum
7 years of teaching experience
in a recognized university/institute.
Minimum 10 research publications
in Scopus or peer-reviewed journals.
Successfully guided
at least one awarded Ph.D. scholar
.

Skills Required:

Strong academic and research orientation.
Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Experience with outcome-based education and academic innovation.
Industry interaction or consultancy work (preferred).
