Mechanical Engineer

Role Summary:

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, execution, supervision, and commissioning of mechanical systems and components for various infrastructure and industrial projects. The role demands strong technical acumen, field experience, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams for successful project execution.

Role & responsibilities:

• Prepare and review mechanical designs, P&IDs, technical drawings, and equipment layouts.
• Assist in the selection, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Oversee on-site mechanical work execution and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, equipment quality checks, and vendor coordination.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and resource management related to mechanical scope.
• Prepare technical documentation, including BOQs, method statements, material submitting, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with civil, electrical, and structural teams for integrated project delivery.
• Ensure adherence to applicable industry codes, standards (e.g., ASME, IS, API), and client requirements.
• Participate in troubleshooting, modifications, and optimization of mechanical systems during execution and post-commissioning phases.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 4 - 6 years of experience in mechanical construction, fabrication, erection, and commissioningpreferably in EPC or infrastructure sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design tools; knowledge of project management software (MS Project, Primavera) is a plus.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems in sectors such as oil & gas, power plants, industrial facilities, HVAC, and piping networks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and site coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel to and work at project sites across India and abroad
