Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at Aryan Cables in Village Manda, Bhojipura, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems and machinery used in the cable manufacturing process. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems and machinery involved in cable manufacturing. - Maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing existing mechanical equipment such as extruders, cable stranding machines, and drawing machines. - Planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize machine uptime. - Coordinating with production, quality, and electrical teams to ensure machines meet required quality, efficiency, and safety standards. - Conducting root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implementing corrective & preventive actions. - Assisting in the layout design, installation, and commissioning of new machinery or modifications. - Ensuring availability of mechanical components, spare parts, and consumables that meet quality standards. - Preparing technical documentation including machine manuals, maintenance logs, reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). - Monitoring mechanical performance metrics, suggesting improvements, and leading mechanical improvement projects. - Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, regulatory, and environmental norms. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline. - Strong understanding of mechanical systems, drives, gearboxes, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and other related components. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and layouts. - Proficiency in maintenance planning and execution. - Knowledge of diagnostic tools and techniques for condition monitoring. - Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is a plus. - Problem-solving mindset and strong analytical skills. - Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
