Job Description

Key Responsibilities Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent drafting software, with strong skills in 2D DWG creation. Drafting and Detailing: Generate detailed General Arrangement (GA) drawings, foundation drawings and fabrication drawings Conduct material weight, BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation, and technical documentation. Address and resolve comments and issues related to drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client expectations. Revise and update existing drawings based on design changes. Engage directly with clients to clarify drawing requirements and specifications. Work closely with the design team and coordinate with other designers to generate quality outputs within project timelines. Ensure all designs and drawings comply with relevant codes, industry standards, and dimensional specifications. Additional Duties: Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the engineering and design management teams. Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or Designer, Qualifications 2-4 yrs experience, ITI (Mechanical Draughtsman, Diploma, Mechanical Engineering Skills Expertise in 2D design, drafting and detailing Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex specifications and requirements. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in designs.
