Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidEdge)

Location: Pune

Experience: 1 -3 years Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise 2D & 3D CAD drawings for: o Level Gauges o Density and Thickness Measurement Devices o Instrumentation Panels & Hook-up Diagrams
• Collaborate with the engineering team to design layouts for:
• o XRF machines o X-ray baggage scanners o Other radioactive instrumentation
• Assist in BOM (Bill of Materials) preparation, assembly drawings, and site layout planning.
• Ensure design compliance with industry standards and safety guidelines, especially for radioactive products.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering
• Experience:
• 1+ years in a design/drafting role in the instrumentation, electromechanical, or industrial equipment domain.
• Preferred: Experience working on XRF, radioactive products, or X-ray machinery (e.g., baggage scanners).
• Skills:
• Strong in technical drawing interpretation and creation.
• Understanding of instrumentation layouts, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and mechanical assemblies. o Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings, blueprints, and models using AutoCAD software.
• Work with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
• Detail-oriented with good coordination and communication skills. o Develop designs, create layouts, and prepare documentation for construction, manufacturing, or other projects.
• Review and revise drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.
• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AutoCAD software and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles, design standards, and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve design issues, troubleshoot problems, and adapt to changing project requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year
