Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Mechanical Design Engineer (Site Deputation). The responsibilities include designing mechanical systems, creating and reviewing detailed CAD drawings, and collaborating with engineering teams on the development of machine and product designs. The engineer will ensure compliance with project specifications and participate in site supervision and quality checks to oversee the implementation of designs in real-world applications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mechanical design Engineering of HVAC, Plumbing and Firefighting systems with site works exposure.
• Be our representative for site meetings between client, PMC and other consultants providing clarifications on Detail designing and manage the shop documents of Services contractors.
• Handson in CAD and Revit will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience in MEP or IT building/ Campus projects is an advantage
• Familiarity with industry standards and codes
