Job Description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Fresher) to join our design and development team. You will be working closely with senior engineers and project leads to support the creation, testing, and improvement of mechanical components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and modeling of mechanical components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar).
• Support in creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
• Conduct basic tolerance analysis and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, R&D) to ensure design feasibility.
• Research materials, technologies, and design methodologies to enhance product development.
• Document design processes, test results, and technical reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (2024 or recent graduates encouraged).
• Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo, etc.).
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, GD&T, and material selection.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a team environment.
• Internship/project experience in mechanical design is a plus.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Exposure to simulation tools (ANSYS, FEA tools).
• Familiarity with 3D printing, CNC machining, or other prototyping methods.
• Participation in engineering competitions (SAE BAJA, Formula Student, etc.).
