Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Design Department. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in Solid Edge (preferably Synchronous Technology) and have strong hands-on experience in machine design. The role requires excellent technical knowledge, strong problem-solving ability, and the ability to work with modern engineering tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using Solid Edge.
• Migration of 3D drawing from Creo to Solid edge
• Work on machine design projects from concept development to final delivery.
• Perform mechanical calculations, tolerance analysis, and design validations.
• Apply strong knowledge of GD&T, Surface Finish Symbols, Welding Symbols, etc.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project planning and execution.
• Lead and guide junior team members when required.
• Prepare design documentation, BOMs, and project reports.
• Work with PLM (Teamcenter) and ERP (SAP) systems.
• Support continuous improvement activities and adopt new technologies in the design process.
• Participate in technical discussions and support decision-making for project-related matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BE - Mechanical
• Expertise in Solid Edge, especially Synchronous Technology.
• Working knowledge of Creo, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.
• Strong background in machine design (highly preferred).
• Knowledge of Teamcenter (PLM) and SAP Business One (ERP).
• Strong decision-making and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of simulation for parts and assemblies.
• Ability to manage projects and work independently as well as in a team.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
