Role: Mechanical Design Engineer

The Mechanical Design Engineer is the one who is responsible for designing and assembling mechanical components, mechanical subsystems for UAV prototypes and products, conducting engineering analysis and production verification.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Saturday

Work Location: Mysore

Preferred: Candidates from Mysore

Responsibility & Deliverable:

● Putting the conceptual framework into practice.
● Prototype assembly and testing for mechanical parts.● Co-ordinate and hands-on the mechanical parts production and maintenance.● Design mechanical components, mechanical subsystems.● Design modifications in consideration of production feasibility and cost.● Documentation of design files.

Skills Required:

● Part modelling.
● Surface modelling.● Assembling.● Documentation and presentation skills.● Problem-solving capabilities.● Good communication skills & ability to understand technical documents.

Knowledge Required:

● Good knowledge in Design tools in manufacturing processes.

● Knowledge of structural design, mechanical design, stress analysis, material properties, awareness of Industry standards for structural and mechanical design

● Knowledge in design of experimental models, mechanisms and prototypes

● Knowledge of Fusion 360 software and UAS product development process.

● Microsoft Office & Google Sheets.

Qualifications & Experience:

● Engineering background
● Experience: 2+ years● Experience using Fusion 360 software (must)● Experience using SOLIDWORKS (optional)
