Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

Design mechanical layouts of PCC & MCC panels, including internal and external views.
Prepare cutting and punching drawings for laser cutting of sheet metal panels.
Create fabrication and assembly drawings for electrical enclosures and support structures. Ensure optimal component placement, ventilation, and service accessibility.
Coordinate with electrical design engineers for integration of wiring schematics and component sizing.
Apply relevant industry standards (IEC) and manufacturing tolerances. Required Skills & Tools: Proficiency in AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor
Experience in PCC & MCC panel mechanical design
Strong understanding of sheet metal design and panel fabrication
Ability to produce precise cutting drawings for fabrication
Familiarity with TI (L AND K) Panel (optional but preferred)
Knowledge of standard electrical components and mounting systems (busbars, ACBs, contactors, VFDs, etc.)

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2+ years of experience in mechanical design of electrical panels (PCC/MCC/Control Panels)

Hands-on experience working with panel manufacturers is a plus
