Mechanical Design Engineer conveyor Background

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Conveyor Systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving conveyor equipment used in material handling applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop belt conveyors, roller conveyors, chain conveyors, screw conveyors, etc.
• Prepare 2D & 3D CAD drawings, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings
• Select conveyor components such as motors, gearboxes, rollers, belts, chains, bearings
• Perform basic design calculations (load, speed, torque, power, belt tension)
• Coordinate with production, procurement, and installation teams
• Support site execution and resolve design-related issues
• Ensure designs meet customer requirements, safety standards, and industry norms

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Mandatory experience in Conveyor System design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); SolidWorks/Creo preferred
• Good understanding of material handling equipment and industrial standards
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and fabrication techniques
• Ability to read and prepare BOMs and technical documentation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
