Position Summary:

Mechanic

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance & Repair

• Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on vehicles or machinery (e.g., engines, brakes, suspension, electrical systems).
  
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
  
• Inspect and test vehicles and equipment for mechanical and safety issues.
  
• Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools and power tools.
  

Diagnostic & Technical Work

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues in mechanical and electronic systems.
  
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics for proper repairs.
  
• Perform engine tune-ups and adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Calibrate and adjust systems to meet performance and safety standards.
  

Tools, Equipment & Inventory

• Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good working condition.
  
• Keep accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed.
  
• Request and manage parts and supplies inventory as needed.
  

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and procedures.
  
• Ensure repairs and maintenance meet safety and environmental standards.
  
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop or garage area.
  
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
