Innovate to solve the worlds most important challenges Position: Mech Design Engineer II Experience: 3 to 5 Years Design and Development of electromechanical products The Individual to work on designing and validating Mechanical Components for, Value Engineering (VE), Service-Related Difficulties (SRD) etc... He/she should be thorough in manufacturing process, Aero grade materials, GDT (per ASME standards) and Tolerance Stacking. Qualification and Experience: Masters or Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Aerospace from reputed universities. Industrial relevant experience in Aerospace components design (Preferably on Valves, Actuators, ECS, ATS, Engines and related components) Proven ability in bringing new design ideas for Value engineering Understanding of different Aero grade material and its application Good Knowledge on the Manufacturing processes, Special processes Expert in applying the Functional tolerances, GDT and Tolerance stacking. Expert in using Pro-E or SIEMENS NX and Teamcenter tools. Shall be able to independently take up the design from Concept up to Qualification Exposure to Structural / Thermal / Vibration Analysis Desired Skills: Shall be a self-learner, team player and go-getter Strong verbal and written communication skills with employees at all levels Experience in working with geographically distributed stake holders JOB ID: req485481 Category: Engineering Exempt Global (ALL)
