MB.Charge Java Engineer

This is a hands-on development role where you will work on real-time, scalable cloud-based systems, using modern tech stacks, contributing directly to the user experience and reliability of Mercedes-Benz EV infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Java (Java 8+) and SpringBootWork in an Agile team to deliver features in iterative cyclesParticipate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testingContribute to the evolution of microservices architecture with best practicesEnsure system reliability through effective fault tolerance and container orchestrationCollaborate with cross-functional teams for backend, frontend, and DevOps integrationMaintain high standards for code security and performanceOwn the deployment pipeline using CI/CD tools and infrastructure as code

Required Technical Skills

Must-Have:

Java/J2EE (Java 8 and above)
SpringBoot, Gin, Mockito, JUnitDatabases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDBPublic Cloud: Azure or AWSMicroservices architecture with Service Discovery and fault tolerance mechanismsKubernetes, DockerMessaging/Caching: Kafka, RabbitMQ, RedisTerraform, HelmAPI design using OpenAPI 3.xAPI security: OAuth 1.0/2.0Build tools and servers: Maven, Jenkins, Apache Tomcat/JBossCloud deployment and hosting experience (Kubernetes)
