Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape (Electrical, Power Systems, Thermal).
- Experience with system-level modeling of DC or hybrid energy systems.
- Familiarity with control systems design, parameter tuning, and validation workflows.
- Understanding of battery models, PCS/converter dynamics, and cooling system interfaces.

Preferred Experience
- Experience in modeling Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or DC microgrids.
- Exposure to HIL simulation tools (e. g. , dSPACE, OPAL-RT, Typhoon HIL).
- Knowledge of Modbus or CAN-based communication modeling.
- Awareness of thermal-electrical coupling in battery systems or power electronics.

Education
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Power Electronics, or related field.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and documentation ability.
- Capability to work in cross-functional teams (Controls, Testing, System Design).
Deliverables:
- Complete DC system MATLAB/Simulink model (battery, PCS, cooling, and controls).
- Parameterized component library for model reuse and variant simulations.
- Model validation report with test case results and performance metrics.
- User guide for simulation setup and execution.
