Overview:
BEHERE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE PVT LTD in Pune, Maharashtra, is seeking a reliable and passionate Mathematics & Statistics Faculty member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching Mathematics and Statistics to 11th & 12th Std Science, Commerce & CA Foundation, JEE, and CET students. This part-time role involves preparing and delivering engaging lessons, monitoring student performance, and contributing to the overall development of our institute.

Responsibilities:

• Lesson Preparation: Develop engaging Mathematics & Statistics lesson plans tailored to students' diverse backgrounds, interests, and abilities.
• Student Monitoring: Monitor student performance and adjust teaching strategies to enhance content delivery and student understanding.
• Exams and Assessments: Assist in setting up exams, assessments, and experiments in alignment with curriculum requirements and standards.
• Communication: Effectively communicate student issues to parents, counselors, and relevant staff members to support student development.
• Professional Engagement: Attend events, club meetings, and staff meetings as required, and represent the institute at conferences, workshops, and networking events.
• Department Improvement: Propose suggestions to enhance the Mathematics & Statistics Department and overall institute operations.
• Student Support: Build rapport with students to create a safe and comfortable learning environment, encouraging discussions on sensitive topics.
• Event Preparation: Encourage student participation in science fairs, competitions, and expos, and prepare them for these events.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics & Statistics or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Degree in secondary education with a focus on Mathematics & Statistics also acceptable.
• Certification: Relevant teaching license or certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in educational institutions.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. Patience, resilience, and cultural sensitivity are essential.
• Language: Proficiency in English & Marathi / Hindi preferred.
