Maths Faculty

The job of an IIT JEE Maths faculty member involves a diverse set of responsibilities primarily focused on teaching, curriculum development, mentoring, academic support, evaluation, research, professional development, administrative duties, and continuous improvement. Mentoring and academic support are key aspects of the job, where you will provide personalized academic assistance to students, guiding them towards excellence in Maths. Additionally, offering career counseling and monitoring student progress to provide constructive feedback are integral parts of your responsibilities. Evaluation and assessment will involve designing and conducting quizzes, tests, and exams to gauge student understanding, grading assignments promptly, and analyzing results to identify areas for improvement and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Engagement in scholarly research, attending educational events, and collaborating with peers on research projects are essential for professional development. Administrative duties such as participating in departmental meetings, contributing to policy development, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Maths department are also part of the role.
