Job Title: Mathematics TeacherDepartment: AcademicsReports To: Head of Department / PrincipalJob Summary:

The Mathematics Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging math lessons, assessing student performance, and supporting students in developing strong numerical and problem-solving skills in accordance with the school curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver mathematics lessons as per the prescribed syllabus
• Teach mathematical concepts clearly using appropriate teaching aids and methods
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments
• Evaluate students’ progress through tests, assignments, and examinations
• Provide remedial support to slow learners and enrichment for advanced students
• Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance
• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and school activities
• Follow school policies, rules, and academic calendar

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or related subject
• B.Ed. (mandatory/preferred as per school norms)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to simplify complex concepts
• Patience, dedication, and student-focused approach
• Basic computer skills for online teaching and record keeping

Experience:

• Fresher or experienced candidates may apply (as per requirement)

Working Hours:

• As per school schedule

Salary:

• As per school norms and experience

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
