Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and innovative math expert to join our team as a Math Content Quality Specialist. This role is instrumental in developing engaging and impactful math content aligned with the US Common Core standards in grades 3-12, aimed at revolutionizing the way students engage with math education.

Responsibilities:

• Review and improve question quality, ensuring all problems are student-friendly, platform-compatible, and pedagogically effective.
• Use our proprietary content management system to manage and update items in the question bank.
• Collaborate respectfully with team members to discuss necessary revisions and ensure the production of high-quality content.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in high-school–level algebra and geometry, with confidence in solving and checking problems independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding time management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent written communication skills, with a strong command of English grammar and clarity.
• Demonstrated ability to design math problems that adhere to state educational standards.
• Highly organized and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.
• A genuine passion for math education and a vision for making an impact, focusing on equity and affordable tutoring initiatives.
• Devotion to both mathematics and language, evidenced by meticulous writing.

Nice to Have:

• Experience creating instructional visuals or graphics to support student learning.
• Familiarity with productivity and collaboration tools such as Notion.
• Experience using education technology tools in the classroom.
• Math tutoring experience.
