Job Description

Demand Forecasting: Analyzing customer demand trends and other relevant data to predict future material needs. Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking, optimizing inventory turnover, and ensuring accurate inventory records. Supplier Coordination: Working with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, negotiating pricing, and managing supplier relationships. Production Scheduling: Aligning material availability with production schedules to ensure timely and efficient production. Order Management: Placing purchase orders, tracking shipments, and ensuring proper receiving and storage of materials. Communication and Collaboration: Working with various departments, including production, purchasing, and accounting, to ensure accurate material inventory and meet customer demands. Material Specifications: Determining material specifications and ensuring they meet quality standards. Waste Management: Monitoring the production, use, and disposal of waste materials. Data Analysis: Utilizing data analysis tools and software to track inventory levels, analyze demand, and optimize supply chain processes.
