Inspecting and diagnosing aircraft systems: This includes performing routine checks, diagnostic tests, and identifying mechanical and hydraulic malfunctions. Repairing and maintaining aircraft components: This can involve replacing or repairing parts, fixing electrical circuits, and ensuring systems are functioning correctly. Consulting maintenance manuals and blueprints: Using these resources to understand repair procedures and ensure compliance with regulations. Maintaining records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance operations: This includes keeping detailed records of work performed, parts used, and any discrepancies found. Adhering to safety regulations and company standards: Ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is performed according to established guidelines and procedures. Collaborating with other mechanics and engineers: Working together to diagnose and solve complex issues and ensure efficient workflow. Inventorying parts, supplies, and equipment: Tracking inventory and ensuring that necessary tools and materials are available.
