Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Manage inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and optimize storage capacity to ensure efficient use of resources.
Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials on time and within budget, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Prepare purchase orders, track shipments, and maintain accurate records of inventory management activities.
Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement in material control processes and implement changes as needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to material availability, quality, or quantity.

Desired Candidate Profile

3-7 years of experience in material management or a related field (mechanical engineering background preferred).
Strong understanding of SAP MM module (Materials Management) and Excel skills for data analysis.
Proficiency in creating purchase orders, managing inventory levels, tracking shipments, and conducting audits.
