Job Description

Role Overview: As a Master Data Management Coordinator Lead at bp's Customers & Products business area, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate creation, implementation, and maintenance of master data. Your role will involve providing clear and collaborative leadership to the Master Data team, serving as the domain expert in discussions requiring Master Data content, policies, and processes, and developing policies and process controls for error-free data delivery. You will also be responsible for managing interactions with various personnel, leading the audit process for data accuracy, and proactively supervising data quality metrics. Key Responsibilities: - Provide clear and collaborative leadership to the Master Data team. - Serve as the domain expert in discussions requiring Master Data content, policies, and processes. - Develop, recommend, and maintain policies and work processes for error-free data delivery. - Ensure timely and accurate data communication between functions. - Manage interactions with personnel to resolve master data questions and issues. - Lead the audit process for data accuracy and integrity. - Build and communicate metrics to gauge data health and quality. - Ensure compliance with standards and business rules for data maintenance. - Participate in industry work groups and relevant webinars. - Ensure SOX Compliance reporting as needed. - Perform any other duties vital for effective role performance as advised by the business. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office with moderate to advanced Excel skills. - Ability to manage multi-functional workflow on multiple projects simultaneously. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written. - Strong attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills. - Ability to make independent decisions and work under tight deadlines. - Flexibility to work in a high-change environment and implement Master Data policies. - High integrity, self-awareness, and willingness to learn and grow. - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business preferred. - 1-2 years of SAP Retail Master Data experience. Additional Details: You will work with several members of Merchandising Services, Category Management, Space Planning, Finance, and Operations teams to improve output performance, data accuracy, and overall business performance from a sales and inventory perspective. Please note that no travel is expected for this role, and relocation assistance is available within the country. This position is not available for remote working.
