Markets Product Controller - Associate

You are a strategic thinker passionate about driving solutions and have found the right team at our company. **Role Overview:** As a Markets Product Controller - Analyst in our team, you will manage both P&L and Risk related tasks. You will interact extensively with Front Office, Market Risk, and Business Management. This role offers you the opportunity to learn and gain an in-depth understanding of all aspects of market risks. **Key Responsibilities:** - Production, preparation, and reporting of the daily P&L and risks - Understanding, producing, and explaining daily P&L into constituent risk components while investigating any issues as required - Regularly interact with the front office to obtain sign off and deal with any ad hoc requests and queries - Liaising with Financial control group to help investigate any issues around daily monitoring and review of the general ledger to reported P&L together with Balance sheet substantiation - Managing projects and initiatives related to all of the above as well as larger cross-business programs - Being an active part of the team, generating ideas and suggestions for improvements, etc. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Derivatives or Securities experience including clear understanding of Greeks analysis - Strong interpersonal/communication skills; ability to relay information in a concise and understanding manner - Professional attitude, strong team player, and personable/approachable manner - Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively to tight deadlines - Analytical and logical manner; good at problem-solving and devising solutions - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process re-engineering skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience with creating documentation - Energetic self-starter who takes ownership - Interest and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong team player, comfortable working with all levels of the organization - Investigative mind-set, able to see issues at both a high level and in detail - Strong technical skills in using Excel **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, statistics, or economics is a plus - Accounting/Control experience - a professional accounting qualification, e.g., CA - CFA charter holder,
