Role Summary:
Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor a team of graphic designers, visual designers, motion graphics artists, video editors, HTML developers, and production artists.
- Oversee resource allocation, workload balancing, and performance development.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Project & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between India and US teams for design asset execution.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations across business lines
- Lead weekly/daily syncs to ensure alignment and resolve blockers.
Project Oversight, Process Optimization & Workflow Management
- Oversee the execution of creative projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to specifications, and alignment with brand and quality standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable processes and operational systems that improve team productivity and output consistency. Audit existing processes and identify areas of inefficiency or bottlenecks.
- Partner with project requesters, creative leads, and stakeholders to scope, prioritize, and assign work effectively.
- Establish checkpoints and feedback loops to maintain high quality without sacrificing speed.
Issue Resolution & Reporting
- Report on key performance metrics such as turnaround times, quality benchmarks, and resource utilization to identify trends and inform decision making.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational roadblocks or conflicts impacting project flow or quality, while ensuring we are maintaining SLAs for various content types (e.g., newsletters, social media posts, videos, brochures)
- Serve as the escalation point for workflow-related issues, ensuring resolution with minimal disruption.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as a liaison between the creative team and marketing operations departments to ensure alignment and clarity on project requirements and timelines.
- Facilitate regular status updates, post-mortems, and operational meetings to improve team collaboration and performance.
Quality Assurance
- Work closely with creative and operations team to ensure all deliverables meet internal and external standards.
- Establish checkpoints and feedback loops to maintain high quality without sacrificing speed.
- Review and approve final artifacts as needed for brand compliance and quality
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1015 years of experience in brand, marketing operations, or creative project management.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional creative teams and vendors, and collaborating with marketing teams
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, campaign execution, and creative production.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Effectively manage, and motivate creative talent
by setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture that supports both individual growth and team success.- Experience working with global teams and navigating time zone differences.
- Familiarity with creative tools, production process (design, video, copywriting, etc.) and production platforms (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, After Effects, HTML/CSS, etc.).
- Proven success optimizing workflows and leading process improvements in a fast-paced, high-output setting.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, Wrike, Monday.com, Trello).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
