Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Marketing Manager with a strong background in the beverages industry, focused on managing super stockists, overseeing distribution operations, and monitoring inventory across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in regional market dynamics, channel marketing, and effective stock management to ensure smooth product flow and brand visibility across the territory.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Super Stockist & Distribution ManagementAppoint, manage, and build strong relationships with super stockists and distributors in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.Monitor and ensure optimal stock levels at super stockist and distributor points.Ensure timely order processing, dispatch, and availability of products across all key markets.Resolve supply chain issues and ensure seamless coordination between company, super stockists, and sales teams.2. Stock Monitoring & Demand PlanningTrack secondary and tertiary sales to ensure healthy stock rotation.Regularly audit inventory levels and prevent overstocking or stock-outs.Coordinate with the supply chain and production teams for forecasting and replenishment planning.3. Market Execution & VisibilityEnsure product visibility, POS deployment, and branding in retail and on-trade (HoReCa) channels.Conduct market visits to check on ground-level execution, product availability, and competitor activities.4. Sales & Target AchievementSupport field sales teams in achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets.Plan and execute regional trade promotions, schemes, and activations to drive volumes.5. Reporting & AnalysisMaintain regular reports on sales, stock levels, scheme effectiveness, and competitor activities.Provide market intelligence and actionable insights to management.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.5-8 years of experience in the beverages/FMCG industry, especially in managing super stockists and inventory across regional markets.Strong knowledge of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh markets.Proficiency in MS Excel, inventory tracking tools, and ERP systems.Excellent negotiation, communication, and team coordination skills.Willingness to travel extensively across both states.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in launching products or expanding market presence in South India.Strong understanding of rural and urban retail distribution channels.Fluency in Telugu and/or Hindi is an added advantage.
