Job Description

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for door-to-door outreach, lead generation, field marketing, and building brand visibility for the school. The role requires strong communication skills, on-ground execution capability, and the ability to drive admissions through targeted campaigns and direct interaction with prospective parents.

Key Responsibilities

1. Door-to-Door & Field Marketing

  • Conduct door-to-door visits in assigned residential areas to promote school programs and collect prospective leads.
  • Interact with parents, share key school information, and generate interest in admissions.
  • Distribute brochures, flyers, and marketing material in key localities.

2. Lead Generation & Conversion Support

  • Generate leads through field visits, community outreach, camps, events, and partnerships.
  • Follow up with leads regularly and drive them for school visits.
  • Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure smooth enquiry handling and conversions.

3. Branding & Visibility

  • Support in planning and executing branding activities such as roadshows, kiosk setups, stalls, hoardings, and local promotions.
  • Ensure proper visibility of school branding in nearby areas through posters, banners, and signages.
  • Promote school events, competitions, and campaigns in the community.

4. Sales & Outreach Activities

  • Conduct direct sales activities to promote admissions for Pre-Primary to Senior grades.
  • Represent the school in nearby societies, coaching centres, daycare centres, and communities.
  • Build strong local networks with RWAs, shopkeepers, academies, and community influencers.

5. Event Support

  • Assist in organising and promoting school events such as open houses, school fairs, admission camps, and parent engagement programs.
  • Manage on-ground arrangements and ensure good footfall for events.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain daily visit reports, lead sheets, and follow-up trackers.
  • Share weekly performance updates with the Admissions/Marketing Head.
  • Keep records of outreach areas and feedback from field activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Graduate in any stream.
  • Diploma/Certification in Marketing is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in field marketing, door-to-door sales, or admissions marketing (preferred).
  • Experience in education sector/ed-tech/offline sales is a plus.

Key Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, confident, and comfortable with door-to-door outreach.
  • Ability to persuade and convert prospects through direct interaction.
  • Good knowledge of local areas and ability to travel extensively.
  • Professional grooming and strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to meet daily/weekly lead targets.
