Marketing Analyst

Role Overview: As a Marketing Analyst at Google, you will be responsible for using your expertise in data analytics to address marketing challenges and identify optimization opportunities. You will play a crucial role in pushing brand and performance marketing to the next level by developing measurement plans, tracking requirements, and reporting on campaign results. Additionally, you will analyze media effectiveness, identify best practices, and communicate insights to executive stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize data analytics knowledge to create solutions for marketing challenges and discover optimization opportunities. - Develop measurement plans, tracking requirements, and reporting metrics for major campaigns to evaluate the incremental impact of marketing efforts. - Analyze campaign results and assess media effectiveness across various stakeholder groups. - Establish processes to ensure alignment among stakeholders and clarify how campaign success is determined. - Conduct analysis to identify best practices, uncover opportunities, and highlight risks for executive stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a research or quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or Economics, or equivalent practical experience. - 3 years of experience in designing, scoping, executing, and delivering research and analysis projects. - 3 years of experience translating business problems into research questions and translating research findings into marketing recommendations. - Experience managing research and measurement agencies. - 5 years of experience as a marketing analyst using statistical techniques. - 3 years of experience in statistical modeling and advanced measurement/analysis techniques. - Proficiency in data querying languages (e.g., SQL), tools for large complex data sets, and programming languages (e.g., Python). - Ability to use data for storytelling and present complex research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.,
