Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Service Engineer (Trainee/Junior Level) to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of marine navigation and communication systems onboard vessels. The role provides hands-on learning under senior engineers and exposure to industry standards like IMO and Class regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of marine navigation and communication equipment.
• Support senior engineers during onboard service visits and inspections.
• Help prepare basic service and maintenance reports.
• Learn to troubleshoot minor faults and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service documentation properly.
• Follow company safety and compliance procedures during all operations.

Systems Exposure:

• Navigation Systems: Radar, Gyro Compass, Autopilot, AIS, Speed Log
• Communication Systems: VHF, MF/HF, Inmarsat, EPIRB
• Safety Systems: SART, SSAS, and GMDSS-related equipment

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Electronics, Telecommunication, or Marine Engineering.
• Basic understanding of marine or communication systems preferred.
• Willingness to learn and travel for shipboard assignments.
