OCDS Agency is looking for a talented and creative Marathi content writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Marathi language, culture, and market trends to produce engaging, high-quality content across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread original content in Marathi, including articles, blog posts, website copy, social media posts, press releases, video scripts, and marketing materials.
• Translate and localise English or Hindi content into clear, grammatically correct, and culturally relevant Marathi.
• Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and current trends (e.g., media, politics, general knowledge) to generate fresh and authentic content ideas.
• Incorporate Marathi keywords and best practices for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) into content to increase visibility and traffic.
• Work closely with the marketing, design, and product teams to ensure content aligns with overall brand strategy and campaigns.
• Assist in developing a comprehensive Marathi content calendar and strategy.
• Ensure all content adheres to high standards of quality, tone, and brand guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Exceptional command over the Marathi language (written and spoken), including strong grammar, vocabulary, and nuanced understanding of regional expressions.
• Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience as a content writer, copywriter, or journalist, preferably in the Marathi language domain.
• A practical sense and awareness of the local Marathi culture, social media trends, and current affairs in Maharashtra.
• Proven ability to write compelling, attractive, and impact-making content suitable for a specific target audience.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in Marathi content writing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and/or Hindi is an added advantage.
• Experience with video scripting and subtitling in Marathi.
• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
