Manufacturing Quality Auditor (MQA)

Key Responsibilities: - Lead MQA activities in one or multiple lines of businesses, working with multiple suppliers. - Setup regular compliance audits and ensure timely closure of issues. - Share best practices across vendors and lines of businesses to improve vendor performance continually. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and establish effective communication with line of business teams and leaders. - Lead MQA cross LOB initiatives, such as data integration systems, efficiency improvements, and extending best practices to other product lines. - Manage contractors including planning, tracking, recruiting, onboarding, assignment, monitoring, evaluation, and budget control. - Lead digitalization efforts to transition from paper-based audits to ML & cloud-based audit frameworks. Qualifications Required: - Familiarity with mechanical manufacturing processes (machining, assembly, coatings, etc) is essential. - Expertise in quality management systems, quality procedures, and quality tools such as quality control plans, Measurement system, CPK/SPC, and Problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D). Additional Company Details: Apple MQA is responsible for ensuring high-quality/process control requirements are sustainably implemented in the Apple supply chain, with a focus on effective tracking metrics and driving continual improvements in a creative & systemic way. Preferred Qualifications: - Working knowledge of mechanical quality and reliability concepts, manufacturing operations management, and mechanical machining/surface finish/assembly. - Positive attitude, willingness to innovate, and logical thinking. - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams and vendors, with the ability to deliver key information optimally in English. - Hands-on experience in quality management system, process/product audit, and certification as TS16949/ISO9001 auditor is a plus. - Proficiency in data analysis tools like Advanced Excel, JMP, Minitab, and tableau. Knowledge of coding languages (such as python, C++) and machine learning experience is advantageous. - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering, or similar fields.
