Manufacturing Engineering I

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality and efficiency performance of the assigned manufacturing line(s). Your role will involve driving continuous improvement through process development, root cause analysis, and systematic problem solving. You will utilize data from CIQ, TARS, and other sources to enhance the overall performance. Key Responsibilities: - Continually strive to balance and optimize line throughput, minimizing changeover downtime. - Monitor machine management data to maximize utilization and reduce machine-generated scrap. - Provide input on cost reduction by streamlining processes and systems. - Create and maintain wave and reflow soldering profiles. - Ensure process parameters are within acceptable tolerances for products and components, meeting solder quality standards. - Design and procure production tooling such as stencils, vacuum plates, and product-specific fixtures. - Coordinate line reconfigurations, machine moves, and maintenance activities. - Encourage open communication within the department and support groups. - Adhere to safety, health rules, and company security policies. Qualifications Required: - Preferred Bachelor's degree with one to two years of related experience. - Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
