Role purpose

Provide Manufacturing Engineering expertise to support both operational and developmental programs, ensuring the successful delivery of zero-defect projects by applying engineering and problem-solving skills. Responsible for APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) deliverables for both existing and new projects, process optimization, and the implementation of robust and efficient manufacturing processes. Ensure that all processes meet stringent aerospace standards, enhance product quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives within the EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems) domain.

Role requirements -

• Support in Industrial Process Design & Development/ New Product Introduction related activities in EWIS (Electrical Wire Interconnection Systems) and its deliverables.
• Experience in creating service bulletins for EWIS MRO support
• Adequate knowledge in Aerospace Configuration Management to collaborate with project team for Requirement Management of assigned projects, paying particular attention to identification of change in requirements, impact, actions and status accounting
• Accountable for understanding/reviewing Design/Product requirements through Customer documents/Drawings & integrating them in PPAP documents.
• Perform exhaustive requirement breakdown of Customer data package and interpret impacts to different process verticals in case of subsequent changes to the data package.
• Accountable for APQP/ PPAP planning and execution by utilizing the GKN standard Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) tool suite
• Accountable for creating Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA and SPC initial reviews and other Key deliverables of APQP Stages
• Accountable for creating Work instruction, Route card, FAI forms

Qualification:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering from Aerospace wiring harness manufacturing
• Good understanding of customer process, preferably Airbus
• Technical expertise in Manufacturing Engineering, with a professional qualification / background in engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical)
• Work with minimal guidance
• Identifies and anticipates technical problems
• Understands situations by analysing them logically and uses information in a systematic way identifying appropriate course of action for resolution.
• Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100,AS9102,AS9145,AS13006
• Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
