Manual Testing Professional – Rebadging

The Manual Testing Professional (Rebadging) is responsible for performing functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing of applications to ensure quality and reliability. As part of a rebadging/transition process, the role focuses on smooth knowledge transfer, maintaining existing quality standards, and ensuring seamless continuity of testing operations.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and enterprise applications based on test scenarios and business requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT test cycles.
• Review requirement documents, identify test scenarios, and design detailed test cases.
• Conduct end-to-end validation of application workflow, UI, data, and performance.
• Log defects in tracking tools, retest fixes, and validate closure with development teams.

Rebadging / Knowledge Transition

• Participate actively in KT sessions to understand existing applications, processes, and test assets.
• Maintain continuity of testing activities during transition and stabilize ongoing operations.
• Document knowledge gaps, update test artefacts, and support process alignment post-transition.
• Collaborate with legacy teams, business users, and new stakeholders for smooth handover.

Process & Documentation

• Maintain test case repository and ensure regular updates to test artefacts.
• Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and daily/weekly status updates.
• Ensure adherence to established QA methodologies, standards, and compliance guidelines.
• Support audit requirements by maintaining proper traceability and documentation.

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with developers, BA, QA leads, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies (Scrum/Agile) and contribute to quality planning.
• Assist in root-cause analysis and provide actionable insights for quality improvements.
