Job Description

Job Summary:

Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business requirements and functional specifications to create comprehensive
test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
.
Execute
manual testing
for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
Perform various types of testing including
functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, smoke, and UI/UX testing
.
Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
Validate fixes and conduct re-testing of resolved defects.
Prepare detailed reports on test results, defects, and quality metrics.
Ensure testing processes and best practices are followed throughout the SDLC.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 years of experience as a Manual Tester or QA Analyst.
Strong understanding of
software testing methodologies
, SDLC, and STLC.
Experience in writing and executing detailed test cases.
Proficiency with test management and defect-tracking tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
