Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications and requirements

• Collaborate with QA engineers and developers to understand features and design test cases

• Execute manual test cases and document results

• Identify, report, and track bugs using a bug tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)

• Perform regression testing after bug fixes or software updates

• Conduct usability testing and report UI/UX issues

• Document detailed and clear test plans, test cases, and test results

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality

• Suggest improvements to processes and tools used in testing

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role

• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies

• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases

• Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Basic understanding of databases and SQL

• Exposure to automation tools (a plus but not required)
