Manual Test Engineer

As a Manual Software Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and usability of our web and mobile applications through thorough manual testing methods. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and previous experience in software testing will be invaluable in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Analyse requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Execute manual test cases for both web and mobile applications. - Identify, report, and track bugs using tools such as JIRA or similar platforms. - Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing to ensure product quality. - Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other QA team members. - Engage in sprint planning sessions and participate in daily stand-up meetings. - Ensure that the software meets business requirements and standards prior to release. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 1 to 3 years of experience in manual testing. - Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes. - Familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla. - Good grasp of various types of testing such as Functional, Regression, and Smoke testing. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. Good to Have: - Experience in testing Martech platforms, analytics tools, or campaign tracking systems. - Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, and some automation skills such as JAVA with Selenium. - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman (optional).
