As a QA Tester at our company, you will play a crucial role in our product development process by ensuring the quality of our SaaS Product before live deployment. Your responsibilities will include manual testing, creating and maintaining test suites, collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing test cases, defect tracking, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring product usability across different platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Perform manual testing of our SaaS Product - Create and maintain manual test suite for the product - Act as the final gatekeeper before live deployment - Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers - Study product documents and specifications to prepare test cases - Log and track defects using Defect Management tools - Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to setup/configuration, Database, and servers - Configure and maintain testing environment for various device configurations and infrastructure failures - Ensure product usability across desktop and mobile web platforms Qualification Required: - MCA or B.Tech in Computer Science/IT engineering - 2-5 years of experience in software testing - Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and go the extra mile when required - Hands-on experience with LAMP environment testing - Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills - Familiarity with traditional SDLC and agile/scrum development - Knowledge of different types of testing (functional, integration, regression, end to end, system, etc.) - Experience in database testing, script testing, and browser testing - Proficiency in issue tracking platforms like JIRA - Basic understanding of web concepts, relational and non-relational database management systems - Exposure to automation testing and tools like Selenium is a plus - Experience with web service testing (REST and JSON, HTTP) - Familiarity with Jmeter for API testing, Load testing, and distributed testing - Experience with at least one web security tool Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.
