Job Description

Role Overview: As a Manual QA Engineer, youll be part of a dynamic team responsible for building and enhancing applications across Cash Loan, Home Loan, and Web portals. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to enhance product performance. Key Responsibilities: Understand product requirements and create detailed test plans and test cases. Design and develop test plans for new features, bug fixes, and existing functionalities. Perform functional, regression, system and integration testing to identify and report defects. Analyze test results, document bugs clearly and concisely in a bug-tracking system, and collaborate with developers to prioritize and resolve issues. Validate bug fixes and verify new feature implementations. Giving extreme attention to details and ensuring to test from an end users perspective. Provide actionable feedback to developers and stakeholders on bug severity and impact. Constantly improve the test cases and testing methodology to improve the overall quality of the application. Maintain accurate and detailed test case documentations. Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to improve software quality throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in Manual Testing of web and backend applications. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field). Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle. Ability to analyze requirements and write comprehensive test cases. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
