As an experienced QA Manual Integration Tester, your role will involve collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA team members to uphold the quality and stability of our software solutions. You should possess a background in manual testing, a proficiency in system and integration testing, and a sharp eye for identifying issues in intricate systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases specifically for integration testing. - Conduct system and end-to-end testing across various services and APIs. - Validate data flow and integrity within integrated systems and components. - Engage in sprint planning and closely coordinate with development teams to comprehend integration points and ensure adequate test coverage. - Identify, document, and track bugs and defects utilizing tools such as JIRA or similar. - Collaborate with automation testers to facilitate test automation for integration scenarios. - Participate in regression, smoke, and sanity testing activities. - Analyze test results and offer recommendations for continuous enhancement. - Uphold test documentation and contribute to test planning and strategy. Required Skills and Qualifications: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing, emphasizing integration testing. - Sound understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies. - Proficiency in testing RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware components. - Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, JIRA, TestRail, etc. - Good command of SQL and capability to validate data across systems. - Proficiency in working within an Agile/Scrum environment. - Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Nice to Have: - Exposure to test automation tools/frameworks is a plus. - Experience in domains such as Transportation/Toll system management is beneficial. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins is advantageous.
