Job Description

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with strong technical expertise in lozenge formulation, development, and technology transfer. The ideal candidate will independently manage end-to-end activities related to lozenge projectsfrom concept and development to scale-up, troubleshooting, and commercial manufacturing.

Role & responsibilities

Product Development:

Formulation development and process design for lozenges.
Innovation of new lozenge concepts, flavors, and dosage formats.
Ensure regulatory and quality compliance during product design.

Technology Transfer & Scale-Up:

Lead technology transfer from R&D to manufacturing facilities.
Oversee pilot and commercial-scale batch executions.
Prepare technical documentation, batch records, and SOPs.

Troubleshooting & Optimization:

Resolve formulation, process, and production challenges.
Implement process improvements for efficiency, yield, and quality.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

Drive projects from concept to market launch.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, Manufacturing, Regulatory).
Provide technical support to manufacturing units as required.

Preferred candidate profile

Masters / Bachelors degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Pharmaceutics / Chemistry or related discipline.
10+ years of proven experience in lozenge formulation and development.
Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Hands-on experience in scale-up, validation, and troubleshooting of lozenge manufacturing.
Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.

Other Requirements

Willingness to travel and relocate to Nigeria as per business needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
