Experience : Minimum of 8 years of experience in supervisory role in Vehicle Maintenance Garage preferably in F&B industry

JOB PURPOSE

This position is responsible for assisting in overseeing and managing the daily operations of a garage, including the repair and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for all vehicles inspection in Traffic Directorate.

• Follow up on all accident reports with the Traffic Directorate.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.

• Issue, renew, cancel, and transfer all insurance policies.

• Coordinate and follow up with Municipality for vehicles branding licensing.

• Process the issuance / renewal of driving licenses with Traffic Directorate.

• Get quotations on repairs and spare parts from different spare parts dealers and scrapyards to determine the optimum quality and price.

• Prepare reports on maintenance activities and costs.

• Assigns work to mechanics and other staff, monitors progress, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Follow up on registration of new vehicles, cancellation of total loss vehicles with the Traffic Directorate and insurance companies.
